Citrus, piney hoppy nose with some cereal-like malts also apparent in the nose. Somewhat subtle, but very pleasant and quite quaffable. Transparent copper color with a somewhat small whitish head. Piney and hempy simcoe hop flavor to start, which becomes sweeter and a bit chewier with nice malts in the middle. Extremely well-balanced. Light piney bitter hoppiness to finish. Well-balanced, flavorful, and non-palate obliterating. That, to me, makes for a great IPA. omhper (12231), Stockholm, Sweden
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 20, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden. Sweaty lychee aroma. Dryish and very hop aromatic. An amazing juicy hop monster with pleasantly soft mouthfeel and only medium bitterness. One of the best examples of the style I have tasted. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2006 tap at the brewpub - The aroma is very hoppy with both citrus and pine notes. It has some great lacing from the slowly dissipating head. The flavor is dominated by the crisp citrus hops and also well balanced. The sharp, hoppy finish is also enjoyable. Good IPA, Labrador! beerinmarch (2806), Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 30, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Pours a light orange, very clear, with a fizzy white head. Tons of candy citrus hops throughout giving it a nice hop character without an overly bitter finish. The hops give a bit of sweet juicy tangerine flavor in the body. Medium body with a crisp dry finish. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Light hazy beige colour. Massive pine and grapefruit aroma is certainly forthright. Bitter and flavourful with rounded pale malt balance. Rather simple, but effective nonetheless. Typical PNW IPA. raphael (415), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2004 Nitro tap, regular tap and Cask@ Lucky Labrador. The nitro was very smooth, creamy, hoppy, but felt a bitted dummed down to me. Regular tap was sharper and fuller, full on lychee hop attack, bitter. The cask was the winner. Like the regular tap version but with a wilder, cheesier cask character, nice beer actually. brewshthereen (316), Oregon, USA
