Jul 17, 2007 Last stop in Portland during ABA Beer Tour 07. On draught at the brewpub pours a hazy caramel amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin bubble ring on glass side. Aroma of heavy pine and citrus that it is challenging to pick up any caramel or bread malt. Taste is intensified bitter, little carbonation with some caramel and citrus flavor. Finish is quite sour and bitter but no grapefruit or citrus aftertaste. Just a dry herbal bitter finish. This one is for the extreme hopheads!
