Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 6, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and primarily hoppy - the American way. The flavor is sweet and again primarily hoppy - which also lends it a very bitter hoppy end. Fine. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 7, 2006 (Bottle 65 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma. Medium body some light accents of caramel malt and fantastic, fresh notes of grapefruit. Tart and bitter - pure quinine. An IPA right up my alley. 011206 omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 20, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Deep golden. Rich lychhee aroma. Dryish with rounded mouthfeel and firm body. Dominated by juicy hops, and that flavour prevails until the finish. A very aromatic IPA. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 4, 2006 Updated: Aug 5, 2006Golden-amber colour. Massive dry-hop aroma, living the Amarillo dream of grapefruit, wood, peach, pear and dalandan. Very bitter, woody in style, with light citrus undertones. Malts are bready and toasty but always keep their distance. This is 100% hop stew, but I’ve had a lot of hop stews in my day and few are as satisfying in both aroma and flavour as this one. If I lived in PDX, this would be my go-to beer. joergen (6947), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2006 Bottle.
