TheBeerLover (1011), DC Metro Area, USA Feb 12, 2008 Sampled this one on draught at the Lucky Lab Beer Hall in Portland, OR. Pours to a slightly hazy, burnt orange color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a moderate amount of carbonation. Lots of zesty/citrus hops in the nose, very fragrant. The palate has a good base of pale and sweet malts, paired with really good citrus hop tang. This beer finishes with more good pale and sweet malt up front, then ends with a good blast of citrus hop bitterness that lingers. Well done AIPA, which is standard in Portland, OR. Very enjoyable pint of beer.
stchloe (96), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 1, 2008 Delicious for a pale ale, perfectly hoppy and with a very respectful ABV. Goes really well with their cookies. BrewDad (1628), Olympia, Washington, USA Jun 30, 2008 Sample - North American Organic Brewers Festival - Portland, OR

Pours a light amber/golden color. Smell is honeydew melon scented sweet hops. Smells good. Taste is balanced nice sweetness and is very drinkable. Nice bitterness. Overall a slightly thin bodied IPA and feels somewhat delicate, but is quite enjoyable. slimchill (616), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 9, 2008 Bottle thanks to BeerZack. Sticky sweet nose, hop-led, somewhat unimpressive. Copper with a thin head. Great bitterness, drawn out finishing extremely dry. Citrus peel flavors. A touch dry in the finish. BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 20, 2008 Clear orange-golden color with decent head that fades to ring and spots.
Grapefruit and some tropical notes, mostly pineapple. No astringent or alcoholic aromas.
Big fruity hop flavors, red grapefruit, pineapple, orange all jump off the light malts leaving a bitter finish. Great West Coast IPA.
Soft, light-moderate mouthfeel with low carbonation helps this hop juice go down. Highly drinkable hop bomb.
