Xyladaun (12), USA Oct 28, 2007 I’m pretty much basing this on my recollection of this beer back in the 70’s. I was pretty young prior to this and remember my dear ol’ dad used to have this in the frige all the time, so I started to drink it in the 70’s when it was still under the old lable and I remember it being pretty good. Great flavor, aroma, a good palate and not too expensive.
imdownthepub (4310), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Dec 23, 2008 Bottled, 355ml? cheers Glenn. Pale yellow, fizzed head. Corny, grainy, cardboard, everything that is bad in a poorly produced lager. Carbonated and pasteurised to death. Really pretty bad. mullet2007 (193), St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada Dec 21, 2008 Pours a straw yellow with not much head. Nose is very faint, and very corn. Flavour is lots of corn and other vegetables. It is fizzy like a lager should be, but it is not really that good. It might be an acceptable session beer, but I am sure you could do better. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 30, 2008 Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aromas of metal, corn, and some minor hop action. Flavor is kind of metallic, with cheerios and hops. terrybail (210), London, Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2008 355ml can from the LCBO
