Lui Lui IPA

Long Trail brews this beer for Lui Lui restaurants, which is where I was last night and thought I’d give it a try. Tastes a lot like a typical Long Trail Ale, or maybe closer to their IPA. Pretty good. A dark copper color, pouring a moderate off white head and a pretty good amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet and hoppy but not overpowering. It’s a good tasting beer but not at all a strong IPA. A strong Pale Ale or a weak IPA if that makes sense. Hoppy and sweet, slightly bitter and pretty smooth. Easy to drink. I’d get it again.

This is does not look like a regular IPA as it has a dark bronze color. It tastes typical with a strong hops flavor. Overall it was an average IPA with a different look. I wish they had it in draft. I figured they would seeing as it is their brand on it...
