Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Sep 28, 2009 Boring as hell, seems more like a malty lager with some noticeable body. I saw change your yeast and you might have something there, otherwise the flavor is so unoffensive that it’s offending me. Sampled at the 2nd Annual Treasure Coast Beerfest in Ft. Pierce. Suttree (2701), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 25, 2009 Clear Orange, thin white head. Very bready aroma at first, with a grassy hop finish. Flavor has a surprisingly big amount of caramel, then a grassy finish. Decent session ale. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2009 Bottle from Total Wine St. Pete. Deep gold with 2-finger white head. Nose is malt, peppery, tropical fruit. Tastes bitter, crisp, with flavor notes of hops, caramel malt, mild tropical citrus. Medium to light palate heft, and not terrible, just not a great APA in my opinion. VeloVampire (483), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 28, 2009 12 oz bottle, courtesy of my bro-in-law. Poured a clear light golden with a small oily cap. Faint aroma of grassy hops with some citrus and a hint of caramel. Flavour a letdown, thin and not much there at all - there’s bitterness in the finish, but the rest of the brew is sorely lacking. It’s as if the brewer threw in a whole bunch of bittering hops and cooked them for 60 minutes, but forgot to add flavouring or aroma hops. Shame. PorterPounder (3131), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 4, 2009 Ft. Myers, Fl. - Total Wines - 12 oz bottle. Standard APA - light orange pour, bubbly white head. Aroma has a hint of spruce. Flavor has decent subtle bitterness to it that would do well for a session ale with some decent underlying citrus notes in the back end. Mouthfeel, about par for the style. Drinkable. thejon375 (390), Tampa, Florida, USA Feb 13, 2009 Pretty boring beer. Not much flavor and not very interesting. Would rather drink a bud light than this one. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 1, 2009 Bottle. First time I’ve seen it. Pours an orange color, thin white head, some spotty lacing. The aroma is very mild, a floral and fruity scent but I’m having trouble picking much up. I can see this one being pretty good during the summer as it’s light and refreshing with somewhat of a tropical fruity taste, some astringency and the hops are mostly piney. Not bad but certainly don’t expect anything special. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jan 30, 2009 Amber coolor with a thin white head. Soapy, citrusy nose. Flavor is standard pale ale, perhaps a bit thin. Meh.
