Poured an almost clear brown-copper color with an off-white head. Phenolic and smokey aroma that smelled like a pencil. Tart and sour roasted malt. Light-medium body.

Bomber. Poured medium-to-deep brown with a short-lived cap of beige head. The aroma picked up lots of sourness with roasted coffee and black patent, but you have to dig for it.. warmth brought out a little brown sugar and iced tea, but the sourness prevailed. The flavor confirmed that this was either infected or just bad, with sourness all over the place.. some interesting blacker malts including coffee.. dry, sour finish was somewhat metallic. Medium-bodied and sharp on the palate as mentioned.. nothing good to say here.

bomber by way of riversideAK.

pours thin a dark brown near black body. i had to work really hard to get a small tannish head to appear. shortly after it climaxed it disappeared to nothing again. the aroma is very roasty/malty with a rubbery tar-like quality. also noted are toasted nuts, coffee, toffee, mild cocoa and black licorice candy. there’s a distinct lager yeast element behind flavors of roast, wood, toasted nuts/pecan cream, cocoa, vanilla and coffee with floral and spicy hops coming in on the clean crisp finish. the palate stays interesting and evolves quite a bit as it nears room temperature where the alcohol is barely noticed. the body is on the thin lager side but spice and crispness make up for it. prickly carbonation keeps it clean and terribly easy to drink! 7/3/8/4/15/3.7

22oz Bottle – 99 Bottles – Federal Way, WA – A big Porter with a Baltic flavor. This beer had so much flavor it could have given to the next beer. Loved the finish on this beer. Great porter, chocolate flavors.

Dark brown/black pour with very thin to no head. The aroma is very roasted/burnt with some earthy bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is roasty, fruity, and bitter. Thinnish lager body. Somewhat clean finish for the amount of alcohol. Enjoyable on draught.

22oz bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Pours a hazy, dark chocolate-brown color; light tan head with minimal lacing. Basic chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma. Lively carbonation. Medium mouthfeel: citrus acidity, tart (definitely infected a bit), cocoa, and chocolate; lightly infected, messy, with plenty of milk chocolate throughout. Medium finish: chocolate, cocoa, and lightly tart with some lemony acidity.
