Commercial Description:
A hoppy Roggen (rye) ale. Rye adds a spicy character that’s complemented by Styrian dry hops.

On tap at lunar. Poured reddish amber with a finger of white head. Taste is a nice balance of malts and hops with a rye bready-ness to it, which is pretty tasty. A very pleasing beer

On tap at lunar. Amber pour with a very small off-white head, minimal lacing. A mix of caramel and rye in the nose. A hoppy start, tangy middle, and spiced finish. Nutty aftertaste. Medium palate. Well-balanced and very enjoyable. Definitely a go-to at Lunar.

Mostly translucent and copper-orange in color with a dense, one-piece foamy off-white head. Rye, hops, pine and citrus work together for the aroma formation. Rye and hops predicate other flavors. Tingly pumpernickel chips help to enforce the spicy rye character. An orange-like vibrancy carries through with a most impressive balance, transitioning into orange flavored toffee. One of the best ryes that I’ve had.

At Lunar. Was wanting to try something interesting and this didn’t disappoint. Nose was a bit fruity and spicy. Taste was similar, with cherries and rye coming out. Smooth and full bodied. Sweet!!
