It had a roasted barley aroma with a soft hit of Bourbon, some oak and a dab of vanilla. Smooth, but not as overly creamy as most nito-pulls. The flavor had Bourbon, dark roasted malt, oak, and a hit of lactic sourness. Pretty nice brew. tmoreau (596), Lombard, Illinois, USA

The color was a cloudy black/brown and the beer had finished it’s cascade dance before delivery, so the head was a modest tan nitro-foam layer, with a little lacing. The aroma was roasted, oak and bourbon and then dark cherry with a hint of vanilla. The flavor brought these along with an even, appropriate bitterness, sneaky alcohol and a mellow, tart, vinous nature made up of the dark cherry and vanilla notes and smoothed by the aging, oatmeal,...and nitro. Very nice brew! RAYBOY01 (1851), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose of roasted barley malt, somewhat muted by the nitro-pour. A touch watery, with that unfortunate nitro-pour artificiality to the creaminess, Nicely tart finish, picking up some pretty obvious bugs in the 8 months it spent lounging around the barrel. Nice roastiness throughout, but I just wish I could try it without the damned nitro!
