Commercial Description:
Lundgren's Lager is a golden-hued beer with full body and a beautiful aromatic taste of hops. A more bitter beer is probably not commercially brewed in Sweden but the refreshing character with touch of honey and citrus makes the beer extremely smooth, in spite a bitterness of 40 BU.

Bottle from the rake at home. Looks very good infact, crystal clear with nice lacing head. Aroma is clean pale malts, slightly soapy, but fresh and citrusy. Taste is pale and slight veinna malts, bit of mash breadyness, but clean and really well balanced. Very tasty stuff.

330 ml bottle. Golden body with a fine white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a fine floral hop character. Flavor is refreshing, mild malt and caramel, floral and a refreshing bitterness. A very nice lager.

33cl bottle @ the rake. Definitely my favourite lager outside of austria. Floral hop nose. Golden colour, slowly diminishing white head. Soft metal and spruce notes in flavour. Elegant bitter notes in the finish. beautiful beer. Big fan! i agree with yespr. Why did they retire it i don’t know.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a one finger thick slowly diminishing white head. Very floral hops aroma. Flavour is light pinewood and loads of more floral notes. Mild caramel malt base with a light breadish note as the beer heats up. Growing dry bitterness in the finish. Reminds me a bit about a fresh Orval, I don’t get at all why this has been retired. One of my all-time favourites.

Bottle @ The Rake, London.
Pours clear golden hay-coloured with a fine, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malty with light balanced hops. High carbonation, almost spritzy. Flavour is soft and subdued, very chewy, a touch of metal. But a great fruity hoppiness that dries out well saves the day!

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Hoppy on the nose - some tropical fruits and citrus together with a malty caramel. Flavour is quite bitter - grape fruit. Also some malty caramel.

(Draught, unpasteurized) Pours hazy golden/yellow with green hints. Hoppy and light yeasty aroma with tones of mild grapefruit, orange peels, soft grass and some flowers. Soft, sweet malt in the background. Hoppy and light fruity flavour with a citric and grass like bitterness. Light doughy yeast and malt mouthfeel. Clean. Medium bitter. Fruity and citric aftertaste. Medium bodied. A very flavourful lager.
