It bitter for one thing but also full of grassy hoppiness. I would deem it dry and floral. There are also grainy malty notes, but they tend to get in the background of the hoppy flavours. Still beeing a bit drunk from it, my mind may be a bit out of order but overall I would judge this to be among the five top lagers from sweden. It reminds me of the God Lager (also from the Nils Oscar brewery) and in this drunken state of mind I claim that lager to be Lundgrens Lager’s only superior. At least if we’re talking Sweden. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 27, 2006 Bottle. Clear golden in colour with a white head. A very wellbalanced lager. Both fruity, hoppy, grassy and malty and sweet. But it all just fits in somehow. Very nice. larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Big offwhite coarse head over deep yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Bitterish flowery aroma with soft metal notes. Lovely sweetish caramel and nut malt taste with dry, malty aftertaste. Faint spiciness throughout, and some metal. An excellent lager. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Fine smell of hay and strraw. Very fruity aroma - the taste is seducingly mild until the finish swipes the mouth clean. More, pleas! gnoff (3573), Göteborg, Sweden

First time I tried it from the tap, though I’ve tried the bottled versions several times. I find it quite similar to the bottle, but a bit smoother. Clear golden color. Big white creamy head, lasting. A bit sour wineous scent. Malty taste, a bit too heavy taste for a lager for me personally. Big bitterness. Bitter and sour aftertaste.
Bottle some time in 2005. It’s nice that they’ve saved the name and the label since the brewery was "Kungsholmens KVartersbryggeri". I don’t know if I think it’s quite as bitter as it’s romour though. It’s a good lager beer though, perhaps a bit too malty for me. Ar 6, Ap 3, Fl 6, Pa 3, Ov 12
