| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 28, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, golden beer with a fine, dense head. The brewery calls it a pilsener in a Czech/German style. No less than five different hops are used - one of them American, and with four different malts this is a rather complex lager. In spite of it’s bitterness it appears soft with notes of honey and citrus. An excellent and very aromatic lager. 140700 yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a one finger thick slowly diminishing white head. Very floral hops aroma. Flavour is light pinewood and loads of more floral notes. Mild caramel malt base with a light breadish note as the beer heats up. Growing dry bitterness in the finish. Reminds me a bit about a fresh Orval, I don’t get at all why this has been retired. One of my all-time favourites. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 19, 2002 Golden coloured. Lively. Hoppy, complex aroma with big flowery citrus tone. Firmaly malty, but very comlex malt profile. Bitter finish. An extremely complex and flavourful lager in it’s own style. Not a beer to drink in massive amounts. fonefan (11890), VestJylland, Denmark

A little citric start, then turns to a flavour that is too much like other lagers. OK malty, a little dusty. oh6gdx (9115), Vasa, Finland
