Beer2000 (1393), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 29, 2008 330 ml bottle. Golden body with a fine white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a fine floral hop character. Flavor is refreshing, mild malt and caramel, floral and a refreshing bitterness. A very nice lager. renffisch (461), london, Greater London, England Jun 1, 2008 33cl bottle @ the rake. Definitely my favourite lager outside of austria. Floral hop nose. Golden colour, slowly diminishing white head. Soft metal and spruce notes in flavour. Elegant bitter notes in the finish. beautiful beer. Big fan! i agree with yespr. Why did they retire it i don’t know. yespr (8539), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a one finger thick slowly diminishing white head. Very floral hops aroma. Flavour is light pinewood and loads of more floral notes. Mild caramel malt base with a light breadish note as the beer heats up. Growing dry bitterness in the finish. Reminds me a bit about a fresh Orval, I don’t get at all why this has been retired. One of my all-time favourites. thewolf (4304), Kolding, Denmark Apr 22, 2008 Bottle @ The Rake, London.<br />
Pours clear golden hay-coloured with a fine, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malty with light balanced hops. High carbonation, almost spritzy. Flavour is soft and subdued, very chewy, a touch of metal. But a great fruity hoppiness that dries out well saves the day! mybestfriend (255), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 11, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Hoppy on the nose - some tropical fruits and citrus together with a malty caramel. Flavour is quite bitter - grape fruit. Also some malty caramel.
