Spicy-sweet honey, earthy grape, and perfumed talcum powder in the aroma. Flavor is best described in the same way. Slightly dry on the finish. Alcohol not too overpowering for 12.5%, but does warm the gullet nicely. BorksBabe (81), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 6, 2008 The aroma is almost non-existent... small traces of alcohol. Looks like watered-down urine. Flavor.. much like a white wine with honey flavor. A typical mead. It’s smooth on the palate and gets better the longer it’s open. Overall, I think I like it. Goes well with Sushi. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

This is a still mead. Pleasant floral and honey aroma. The flavor is less enticing than the aroma, with some light honey flavors and that’s about it. Bit of a bite at the finish. Very average and frankly not all that memorable. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA

This has the taste of alcohol and spoiled fruit juice. Sorry old chaps, not good. glennmastrange (865), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 1, 2007 First shot at mead. Aromas of perfume, nut (like almond paste), oak, solvent and wet cement. Color is clear light yellow. Started sweet and finished sweet with a slight tart/acetic taste. Palate is silky. To me this would be a good apertif or substitute for a desert wine after4ever (2822), Brier, Washington, USA

Pours luminescent gold with very little variegation or any other visual featuring. Smells very floral and honey-ish; I struggled to pick up bits of grass and lemon but I really think I was smelling into it rather than receiving. It’s sweet and a bit tart, a bit slick but not quite sticky on the tongue. This would be fun to mull. Winter’s nearly here; it may be time to start hitting up more meads.
