Cask (Market Porter, Borough): Golden, fine and firm lacy head; solid dry lemony-hoppy nose; light to medium bodied, robust dry bitter flavour; extremely lingering citrussy-hoppy finish. Fine, fine stuff.....

A Mes rate. Cask handpull from the Market Porter.
Very clean gold with a good white head. If it was in good condition, it would be 4 but I’m in the Market Porter so the best one can hope for is ok. Fruity but mainly very wheaty and grainy. Like a bowl of cheerio’s. It tastes almost like there is a slight infection. Blend between chalk and lemon with some (thankfully) pleasant hops. Dry and bitter finish brings it back on track. Otherwise dull and boring.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale balanced malts, grassy citrusy even peppery hop character makes for interesting and good drinking.
