gunnfryd (2718), Kristiansand, Norway May 3, 2008 Can. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt. Flavour is hint of fruit, hint of malt. Thin beer with hint of flavours. Finn (1072), Tromsø, Norway Mar 5, 2008 Can 0,5l. Pale golden colored. Almost yellow. A rapidly settling fluffy head. Some sweet malt in the nose. Hard to find any flavor but there is a bitterness developing. Very carbonated. Bland. KI=4 KnutAlbert (2165), Oslo, Norway Mar 1, 2008 50 cl can
Very pale, very bland. The fruitiness they boast of is not there, a little grain perhaps, and there is an unpleasant metallic taste as well. I doubt they will be able to convert the masses to this! Sigmund (1900), Hafrsfjord, Norway Feb 26, 2008 500 ml can, ABV is 4.5%. "Ice brewed", 30% less calories and 70% less carbohydrates than a normal pilsener - great ... Crystal clear and very pale yellow colour, decent head. Sickly aroma of maize (corn) and maybe a little fruit. The mouthfeel is fizzy, thin and watery. The flavour has some weak grainy notes, a little sweetness, and hardly any bitterness. Utterly boring. Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Feb 23, 2008 500 ml can. Yet another Norwegian beer launch for the people who don’t really like beer. Yes it’s low calories and carbohydrates, but why shouldn’t it be possible to leave some flavors in the beer even with fewer calories? Body is pale golden with a medium white head. Not much aroma, with my best goodwill I could say grain and cooked vegetables. The flavor isn’t as bad as expected, not good but not bad. Compared with Hansa Lite and a few others I did not had the need to pour it down the drain. It’s drinkable, it’s refreshing and you might find traces of grain in the flavor. There is also some kind of artificial. perfumed, floral bitterness – probably the hop. Not really bitter in fact.
