Mälarbryggeriet Birka Special Ale

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet grainy combined with light metallic hop notes. The flavor is sweet grainy combined with notes of metal, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Nice way to start morning with oh6gdx and ungstrup. We shared two bottles of rare Mälarbryggeriet beers which we found from our accomodation’s breakfast room! Golden color, small white head. Metallic malty nose. Fizzy. Cheap woody hops, some malts. Harsh malty aftertaste. Similar to some 3.5 % "folköls".

Bottled@The Red Boat, Stockholm. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, malts and rice/maize. Flavour is quite much the same in a harsh and unpleasant mix. Unpleasant thing.
