Møllebyen Mossepils

On tap@SBC 2008. Clear golden body with a nice white head. A fruity aroma with some grain and a hint of hops. Flavor is fruity, malt and a moderate bitterness. Refreshing.

On tap 30 Jun 07. Pale golden colored. A tiny head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. A pleasant fruity flavor. Sweet bitter finish. A very good pilsener. Probably the best in Norway.

On tap at the brewpub. ABV was said to be 4.7%. Pale golden colour, low head. Pleasant aroma of butterscotch, honey and some fruit. Tolerable pilsener flavour, slightly above average, but some more hops would have been nice.

On tap @ the brewpub. Plain pilsener golden apperance. Thin fully diminishing white head. Light buttery malt aroma with fruity notes. Also som pleasant whiffs of fresh, floral hops. Medium sweet and mellow malt taste with a proper amount of bittering hops. Light to medium body. Smooth and balanced.

Comments: Better than Kong Carl as one of their basic offerings, far crispier and better carbonated, stronger aromas, more floral and less vegetal. Accessible, but tasty.
