The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, as well as lesser notes of wood and nuts, but also a hint of acidity. Roasty and grainy with some crystal malt character. Salty bitter finish. Not remarkable, but pretty good. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 25, 2006 (Bottle 70 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly tart aroma. Medium body with some roasted malt and a dry, bitter finish. Flavour of malts, caramel and hops. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 70 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky brown with a lacing light orange head. Aroma is caramel malt and mild fruity hops notes, quite inviting. Flavour is initially sweet and mild caramel malt, goes quickly into a nice hoppy and mild fruity flavour. Nice composition. Light fruity and bitter finish. Nice one!
