Bouteille, 341 ml, 5 %, Vieux Stock V chez Steve, savourée le 19 janvier 2007; oeil : cuivrée, pas d’effervescence, claire; nez : houblon, caramel, carton, acidité; bouche : âcre, houblon, caramel, acidité, finale âcre, corps mince, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement sucrée, moyennement amère; en résumé : trop âcre Glouglouburp (2113), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 10, 2006 Clear light copper body with a thick white head. I found this beer to be pretty similar to the “Le Chaudron Coeur Dor” that was brewed in the same physical although this one is a bit more fruity and a little less hoppy (similar fruity flavours and hop character). The carbonation is softer too. A good fruity bitter Pale Ale but I prefer the Coeur Dor. Not brewed anymore and the remaining bottles are not worth it as they have developed quite a bit of diacetyl (unpleasant butter flavour). Beers like you and I don’t get any better with age. Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 12, 2006 A hazy orange-amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light smoky notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and barnyard. fiulijn (6110), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Feb 18, 2006 Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. Malty aroma with some vanilla and toffee. Not very strong body, some malt, round resins; strong hopping. Rough. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 17, 2006 (Bottle 34,1 cl) Slightly hazy amber with a delicately creamy, off-white head leaving some very handsome laces. Aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Light, fresh and rather dry body with some accents of caramel. Quite pleasant and very drinkable. Thanks Siroy. 120206
