Glouglouburp (2113), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 17, 2006 Large light brown head over a clear copper body. Features a smiling gingerbread man on the label. I’m sure he wasn’t smiling anymore when they melted him and put him in a bottle because that’s really what this beer tastes like, a melted little gingerbread man. Cinamon, bready malt, brown sugar, ginger. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Original? yes. Good? so-so. Fun at first but a bottle is more than enough. Lubiere (3523), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 15, 2006 Deep reddish brown ale with a thick light moka head. A bit of cinnamon hearts in aroma, and some ginger. More notable in mouth, very nice sweet malt with cinnamon and ginger in evidence, like that gingerman bread on the label. Medium bodied. A bit short though. Siroy (220), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Dec 12, 2005 [Bottle 341ml, dates are unknown, chilled]
Reddish/brownish color with a tan head. Cinnamon, ginger, coriander.. Spicy and flowery to the nose. To my opinion, this is the best product from ‘ma brasserie’ I tried so far. Pleasant and not common rosted malty finish.
