Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Chocolate, malt and licorice in the aroma. Roasted malt and licorice in the flavor. Medium bodied, alcoholic. Hint of tartness. Lacks refinement, though quite drinkable.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle from Bier Koning. Dark oaky body with thin tan foam. Sweet nose of raisins. Cloying texture. Full-bodied. Taste of raisins, malt, caramel, sweetbread. Creamy with slight prick. Comes on strong and finishes tart. Nicely done.
