On tap Seattle. Murky orange brown with very fine bubbled, medium size yellowish head. Sweet honey floral malt aroma. Smooth clean body. Flavour similar to aroma but with added decent robust crisp hopiness. Real nice!

On tap in Seattle. A very nice, interestingly different, amber. Tastes of fruit and some hops, and a good malty sweetness. Some spice in there too. Tasty.

The best tasting most original beer I have tasted. Amber color and incredible aroma (take a good whiff). Only problem is they dont bottle it, for obvious reasons.

Very nice amber on tap at Good Times in Eugene Oregon. From the pitcher it pours a golden amber. The taste is nice and sweet for an amber, definaltey good for an amber. I would have never tried it out. Smells of rich fruits, floral hops, quality malts and slightly nutty. Small fizzy whitish head. A good session beer.

Poured straight out of the spout at the brewery. Light brown on top thinning out at the bottom with pretty heavy haze throughout. Well rounded flavour. Some nut up front and a slight heavy-roasted malt in the back. Good balance. Nice mouthfeel. Very interesting - uncommon to find it unfiltered.

On tap at Cucina Cucina in Tigard, OR. Pours with one-finger white head that goes quickly leaving a little lace. Clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Starts with a good mix of malt and hops, hops dominate, well balanced for an amber, finish does not linger. $4.50 for a 16oz glass.

Enjoyed many a pint of this one at a number of places in Seattle, and particularly enjoy this one on draught at the African Lounge, which is an outlet for Mac and Jack beers at SETAC. This beer is a fantastic example of amber ale, with lots of great hop aromas, flavor, and bitterness, paired with really great sweet and caramel malt flavor. This beer pour to a hazy, deep amber color, with a creamy white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose is outstanding, with lots of big, fragrant, lemon/grapefruit hop aromas. The palate is firm, with some really good pale, sweet, and caramel malt flavors, paired with a nice fruity back drop of tangy, citrus hop flavor. This beer finishes with more really good sweet and caramel malt up front, then ends with a very pleasing, lemon/grapefruit hop bitterness that lingers. An excellent pint of beer, one that must be tried when ever you visit the Seattle, WA area.
