Pours a very murky, copper/goldish color. Smells like hops and sugary malts. the mouth feel is rather cloying. Taste like grapefruits, straw, grass, and unfermented sugar. Not Mac & Jacks’s best beer. In fact, for me, passes as almost undrinkable.

On Tap at Asiago’s. This is one of my favorites. Nice head with a fairly sticky lacing. Just the perfect amount of hops (spruce & grass perhaps) to leave a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Of course, not overpowering the rich malty flavors. Tap at Kahootz - Re-Rate: Orignally I rated this beer a 4.4 and I think it was my 2nd rating or something. It is a good amber, but not a 4.4! It is a cloudy amber color. It has a pretty mild aroma of deodorant and citrus. The taste is more malts than hops - celery and a cardboard aftertaste. Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Cloudy amber with full creamy tan head. Nice texture with a good amount of sweet malty finish

Tap. Very cloudy amber color w off white head that fell rather quick. Aroma is weak for it’s quite cold. Flavor is med roast malt w a toasted characteristic. Quite malty, semi-sweet, a bit sour & rather bitter w a lingering bitter finish, some hop flavors noticable. Rather viscous, sticky mouthfeel. It had that milky, a touch chalky, w a touch of grapefruit mouthfeel that I’m starting to dislike. Was tasty enough to rate a 3.2 though. This f*ckn pint cost me $5.50 at Red Robin in Spokane Valley.....Jezus!

Orange. Very cloudy/soupy. Orange and mellon aroma. One of my favourite ambers perhaps because it seems more like a hefebarley. Original and refreshing.

tap. pours dark, hazy amber, with small visible paritcles and a smallish spotty head. smells sweet and malty, with a bit of citrus. this beer does not have a significant release of gasses, yet this does not detract from the mouthfeel tastes is similar to the aroma, it is smooth, malty, with a nice bit of hops, some honey, citrus, nuts, and a nice bitter dry finish. this is a very drinkable and interesting beer that i highly recommend. bottoms up.

Pint ( or 3), at Gregorys Lounge near Sea-Tac. A nice darkish amber coulour beer with a good sized creamy/frothy white head. It has quite a spicy aroma for an amber , with notes of citrus and maltiness. This is quite an unusual amber ,very sweet and spicy with particular notes of peach flavour.,Bitter after taste. Nice and smooth on the tongue woth lowish carbonation. A very drinkable amber, unusual for sure, but i liked it a lot.

One of my favorites. Great buzz after two of them. The flavor is great as well. They serve it at the Red Dog here in town.
