Was very supprised by this one. It’s off in it’s own direction. Found it really hard to catagerize. Nutty, earthy, anything but light or simple. This is one I’ll have to go back to a few times to truely understand. But I think I know from my first try, I liked it! duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Some tropical fruit and apricot. Nicely soft texture, bitter finish, a lovely drink. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2004 Pours a hazy brown with a large creamy white head. Great lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, oranges and grapefruit. Nice spiciness there as well, I’m thinking cinnamon. Flavors are very similar. The orange is bit more prevelant. Malts come out a touch more along with the hops. Very nice indeed. The palate is smooth and spicy. I like it. Finish of alcohol laced bitterness. kbjames (242), Utah, USA

Drink many of these if you can, but they are quite filling. Nice brew. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2004 Draft. Cloudy amber-chestnut color with a small white head that left nice lacing. Mild aroma of fine tea, light malts and citrus with a spicy sweetness. Sweet flavor with a full-mouth bitter bite, cinnamon and allspice with a lingering astringent finish on the back of the tongue. Full body, mild carbonation. Nice treat! GermanBrews76 (667), Eugene, Oregon, USA

Mildly floral, light grainy notes mingle with a citrus hop bite, then builds to a sweet floral and light caramel flavor. finishes clean and crisp. a bit more pronounced malt profile would be awesome to me. Creamier and sweeter as it warmed, showing more of that malt aspect.
