Cloudy orange, nice nose of hop. Slight toasted malt with a good presence of hop. Nice clean dry finish.

A darker amber ale with a bit too many fruity flavors coming through. This finish was lingering yet dissatisfying

old rating 6/3/7/4/14 - 3.4. pours a cloudy burnt amber with a small foamy white head, and very good lacing. smells of malt, earth, caramel, wood, and a touch of citrus. taste is light and creamy, caramel, lemon, malt, and some hops, ends just a little bitter and creamy.

Pint ( or 3), at Gregorys Lounge near Sea-Tac. A nice darkish amber coulour beer with a good sized creamy/frothy white head. It has quite a spicy aroma for an amber , with notes of citrus and maltiness. This is quite an unusual amber ,very sweet and spicy with particular notes of peach flavour.,Bitter after taste. Nice and smooth on the tongue woth lowish carbonation. A very drinkable amber, unusual for sure, but i liked it a lot.

I had this beer once when I was in Seattle down at Pioneer Square. People had raved about it for so long, but regretfully, I was drunk when I drank it, but what I remember about it was good. The fact that it still kicked ass even after I had my share speaks for itself....long overdue rerate: Very smooth, perfectly balanced by the unique hoppy flavor. Anyone can drink this beer....a swill lover, to a beer god. They say that some Microsoft tycoons made created this beer...bottle it guys!

From a growler. Fruity aroma. Taste is fruity and biscuity. Very interesting and drinkable. Not a typical amber.

On tap @Tulalip Casino, Wa.: Cloudy amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel and apricot. Flavor starts sweet and fruity (peach/mango) with some malty caramel and a light grassy bitter finish. Full bodied and smooth with moderate carbonation.

Deep amber colored beer with the heavy smell and taste of the serengeti. Grass is the pre-dominant flavor, but there are serious citrus undertones as well. Easily the best amber ale I’ve ever tasted and it’s a dear wish of mine that the brewery will start bottling it. Note: Over the last year or so I’ve noticed some off flavors in this one, not sure if we’ve just been getting bad kegs or what, but I haven’t gotten the same awesomeness out of it lately. Hopefully the greatness I remember will return soon!
