Commercial Description:
Brewed in Seattle, and available only by the keg, this Pacific Northwest beer is unpasturized and unfilterd. Creamy, hoppy and delicious, no visit to the great beer city of Seattle is complete with out a couple of pints of this magnificent amber ale.

Wow. I’d never heard of this until my recent trip to the northwest. I wasn’t expecting too much, and I was stunned when I tried it. Excellent example of a good amber beer. Smooth and drinkable, but has some very nice spice to it. Rich and creamy malts make for a superb mouthfeel. Very well balanced. A definite must try.

This was a decent brew that I tried at a bar. I wasn't overly impressed, almost tasted like a heffeweizen. But a good micro when you need one

Citrousy malty aroma, nice medium dark amber. Thin, but creamy head. Awesome Apricot taste. And amazingly balanced hops and malts. More malty than most American Ambers, guess that why its African, maybe!

On tap in Seattle. A very nice, interestingly different, amber. Tastes of fruit and some hops, and a good malty sweetness. Some spice in there too. Tasty.

Standard choice at a bar. Looks like silver but tastes like gold. Drink this if you enjoy drinks.

My reviews of this beer are slowly diminishing. I was determined it was the BEST beer ever in the beginning. Sure it is easy to drink, the color is beautiful and it goes down very smoothly- but drink too much of it and you lose the excitement. It is great for a keg party but don’t ever get sick on it or you’ll never look at it the same again... Anyways my ratings may seem a little high but it is a well crafted beer.

Pours copper-amber with a medium white head. Nose of nutty malts and mild bitter hops. Creamy caramel flavor and full mouth feel. Finished semi-sweet with a nice hoppy bite.
