on tap at the virginia inn in seattle. pretty amber but otherwise has too much character to be considered an amber ale. aroma of caramel and pineapple turnover. nice combination of nutty toffee flavours and fruity bitterness

Growler, thanks theisti. The body was deep cloudy copper with an off white head. The aroma was caramel and hay with some sweet pears. Not much hops, I thought that this smelled like a bland amber at first blush, but wasn’t sure as few hops were apparent. The taste was lightly bitter grapefruit with some peanuts in the background. Good for the style, but nothing special.

Medium amber color. Small head. Aroma is nutty and fruity, with hints of apricot and melon. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Caramel. Melons and earthy. A very nice amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Had on tap at Safeco Field watching the Mariners play. Has a delectable murky brown appearance with a thick creamy head. Has a faint malty aroma. Flavor - tangy, hard to place - very original. Has a bit of a smoked feel to it. Good thick mouthfeel - stays strong to the finish at the bottom of the large plastic stadium cup.

Tap @ Safeco Field. Mariners vs Yankees, Brendan Morrow almost gets a no-hitter against the Yankees. What a great game. The beer was a bit nutty, caramel. Quite bitter taste. Decent, but served a bit too cold maybe. Did not recognize this as a top class amber ale.

Orange. Very cloudy/soupy. Orange and mellon aroma. One of my favourite ambers perhaps because it seems more like a hefebarley. Original and refreshing.

Growler shared at Diego’s tasting. Pours a nice amber color. This is a helluva amber. Aromas of caramel, hops, and some sweet citrus notes. Flavor is unreal. Best amber I have ever had. Tons of caramel and seemed like a hint of chocolate. Rich and full, just delicious. I wish I could drink this all the time. BOTTLE IT!

Draft. Rich amber beer beer with a nice off-white head. Light citrus aroma. Citrus, floral hop flavor with light cocoa and malt. Medium body. Nicely balanced. Cocoa, caramel, floral, and citrus linger.
