Draft at Jak’s Grill in Issaquah, this is just about the best amber draft I’ve ever had. I can’t put it any better than the commercial description, "creamy, hoppy, delicious, and ’magnificent’.

My favorite amber. I am glad I can only get it on tap, I hope they keep it that way, somehow knowing I can only get it at my favorite bar makes it taste like a reward. If I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life, I would be okay if it were Mac and Jacks African Amber. Keep it up boys, you are doing a great job.

Pours copper-amber with a medium white head. Nose of nutty malts and mild bitter hops. Creamy caramel flavor and full mouth feel. Finished semi-sweet with a nice hoppy bite.

This is a great brew even though i still think its more of an APA than an amber. Very fruity apricot hop aroma, citrusy and crisp. Pours orange amber with a soft white head. Taste starts very fruity with a light bitterness to balance well in the finish, citrusy hops that bring out an apricot flavor. A light carbonation keeps this brew creamy and smooth. A very drinkable brew.

on tap at the virginia inn in seattle. pretty amber but otherwise has too much character to be considered an amber ale. aroma of caramel and pineapple turnover. nice combination of nutty toffee flavours and fruity bitterness

A very solid amber. Quite appealing. Lots of hops and fruity flavor, never tasted an amber quite like this. A quality brew.
