I vaguely remembered this beer’s name, so I figured my recollection must have been purposeful. I was right- this was a great amber ale. Hazy orange body, thin off-white (light cream) head. Citrus, brown sugar, toasty, caramely aroma. Flavor was quite unusual for an amber ale, with rather intense citrus (lemon, orange) dominating the profile with little associated bitterness. Caramels rounded out the body. Had a nice carbonation "bite" that enhanced the body’s sweetness. One of the best amber ales I’ve tried...is it coincidence it doesn’t taste like any of the others? A nice darkish amber coulour beer with a good sized creamy/frothy white head.
It has quite a spicy aroma for an amber , with notes of citrus and maltiness.
This is quite an unusual amber ,very sweet and spicy with particular notes of peach flavour.,Bitter after taste.
Nice and smooth on the tongue woth lowish carbonation.
A very drinkable amber, unusual for sure, but i liked it a lot.

Drink many of these if you can, but they are quite filling. Nice brew. monterey (8), Redmond, Washington, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 26, 2004 I order this on-tap at Chili's.
