Jul 25, 2009 I think I had this in a bar at SEATAC. Cloudy, dark, deep amber. Kind of yeasty, malty, chewy. Hints of toffee, caramel and cocoa. Faint honey. Hops a little pine nip, but I wouldn’t call it a hoppy beer. Had a cask-like quality. Nice session beer.

May 10, 2009 Nice hazy amber coloured body with a decent tan head. Aroma of hops and malt - equally as strong. Medium-bodied; Nice hop taste to the amber with a good malt backbone. Aftertaste shows a mix of an APA and an amber - decent definitely! Overall, a good beer, especially for the style! I sampled this beer on draught at Kelly’s in Portland, Oregon on 09-September-2006.

Jun 10, 2006 On tap at Cucina Cucina in Tigard, OR. Pours with one-finger white head that goes quickly leaving a little lace. Clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Starts with a good mix of malt and hops, hops dominate, well balanced for an amber, finish does not linger. $4.50 for a 16oz glass.

Aug 25, 2005 Nice, tasty, goes well with late night drunken conversations, platitudes, and mischieveousness. Good round ring to the flavor.

Sep 20, 2008 Malty sweet nose on this reddish brown pour. It is hoppy, and slightly sweet. Smooth and dry finish. A nice brew.
