Jun 19, 2001 This beer alone makes moving to the Northwest completely worth it. It has a great balanced flavor, not too hoppy to overwhelm you. They don’t bottle so they stay small and non-commercial. They basically brew out of a big, old garage. It isn’t pretty but the brewers are so cool and the beer is amazing. It’s the best damn thing about Seattle!

Apr 28, 2001 This is a great beer (unfortunately it is not in a bottle) - Hazy dark copper in color-- this beer explodes with citrusy hops for flavor(cascades? dry hopped.....oh yeah probably with cascades yet provides a great malt back-bone.) scrumptious bitter bite lingers on in the finish making you desire more. And by the way this beer secretly delivers a high alcholic punch. three pints and you are doing fine my friends !!!

Aug 2, 2003 WOW- I remember the days when this was one of the most sought after beers on RateBeer. I finally got my shot at it and I loved it- had a pint at the POrtland airport after landing form Dallas and at that moment it was the best beer I had ever tasted. But I digress. After thinking about it, I was able to step back and be more realistic. Cloudy brown leather colored. Head was drafty. And the nose was fantastic. Grapefruit hints lying with all that yummy, yummy malt. Excellent brew.

Dec 22, 2005 Absolutley perhaps my all time favorite. Mac and Jack’s has everythng I love in a beer, nice color and aroma, plus refreshing hoppy bite at the end from the centennial hops. If it came in a bottle, I’d be broke.

Jul 20, 2006 Very nice amber on tap at Good Times in Eugene Oregon. From the pitcher it pours a golden amber. The taste is nice and sweet for an amber, definaltey good for an amber. I would have never tried it out. Smells of rich fruits, floral hops, quality malts and slightly nutty. Small fizzy whitish head. A good session beer.

Jun 25, 2003 Wow, this is one of the best beers that I have had in a very long time. I had the pleasure of drinking this on tap, great carbonation, with lots of hops and great matly aftertaste to balance out. This beer had everything that I was loking for and more. A beer you can drink anytime for any occassion.
