I’m not a big fan of wheat beers, but this one tasted great. Perfect for a hot day. Good flavors and light.

Shaker pint draft at the African Grille restaurant in the Seattle airport. Pour is cloudy yellow orange with more or less no head. Aroma of faint grainy wheat and a touch of lemon citrus. There is a bit of raisin fruit in the taste as well. Diacetyl rears its ugly head after this warms. Taste is the grainy bready wheat, citrus notes and a bit of dirty earthiness near the back. The aftertaste is dirty, not real pleasant. As this beer warmed, the dirty taste took over the whole thing - with some diacteyl thrown in. Overall, this is a lighter bodied wheat beer, drinkable, and clean enough until it warmed.

9/20/08 On draught at the Ale House, Tacoma, Wa. Aroma is citrusy with a light grainy sourness; a bit too light. Appearance is very hazy orange yellow with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is bready, almost doughy with a low noble bittering and a near perfect amount of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a very low carb texture. Overall, a bit in between German and American styles, and a refreshing, interesting brew.

Draft. Hazy light amber beer with an off-white head. Light wheat and light spice aroma. Wheat, malt, and light spice flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Wheat/malt lingers with light spice.

Draft @ Farrelis in Sumner, WA... Very wheaty, almost like eating a sandwich. I loved it.

Draft @ SeaTac. Hazy orange/amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat, light fruit, malt. Taste is a light wheatiness, dried fruit..

had at brewery and at Kate’s in wallingford. it’s a light wheat but very crisp and refreshing.

A smooth brew, with a tad more complexity than many wheats, though far from spectacular. A touch of banana, a bit of vanilla, and --you guessed it--wheaty dough.
