Nose of caramel, grassy vegtal notes, and a hint of light vanilla in the background; rusty copper color with a big beige, glass-lacing head; flavor has caramel malt, light hop bitterness, and a very light pepperiness; finish lightly bitter. If I could buy cases of this 4% brew here in the US, it would be my lawnmower brew for hot summer days! Nice , light, tasty, mildly hoppy, dark brew! mjs (740), Helsinki, Finland Jul 8, 2008 (Draught at Taphouse, Belfast, on 2008-06-30) Pale amber. Clear. Medium-sized white head. Weak malty nose.
