Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland May 14, 2004 Updated: May 27, 2004thanks Per ! - hazy orange colour with little foam and a nice lacing, pleasant hoppy nose with notes of apricot, medium-bodied, smooth and bitter with a dry bitter and fruity finish - balanced and very well-made omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 2, 2004 Bottled. Golden colour, brief head. Grapefruity hoppy nose. Fairly malty with dense crystal malt character, some vanilla, and a lingering hop aromatic finish. Well balanced, and coming from these regions it's sensationally good, and it was quite an experience to drink it in a little harbour restaurant along with excellent Macanese food. JCW (1262), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 12, 2004 Bottled, thanks Per! Looks like a pils or Standard America, gold colored with small white head. Malt character is very similiar to an pils. Not nearly as hoppy as a pils, very enjoyable on a hot summer day. Slightly dry finish. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 11, 2004 Light gold colour. Extremely fresh grain aroma - like standing beside the grain mill. Wonderful. Palate isn’t quite as fresh, but it’s the same idea, though it finishes sort of wet. madsberg (4373), Bangalore, India Sep 6, 2006 Botlled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Beige dense head. Sweetness, berries and citrus in the nose. Flavour is a bit grassy and herbal. Citric and sour background. Is dry and a bit grapish. Medium bodied. Has a refreshing dry bitterness in the end. Surprisingly good.
