New York state beer is sooooo good. Some of the best microbreweries in the world. This is made by southern teir. dark coffee pour with balanced sweet body. MMMMMMMMMM!

On tap @ Macgregors Jefferson Ave. Pours dark black with nice one finger white head. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts. Creamy medium bodied brew with smooth milk chocolate flavor. well done & the best of the three house bers I tried.

I think they must have changed the recipe as I’ve had it a few times but this was different. It seemed much more carbonated then usual. and a stronger smoke taste to it. It was chocolaty malty and sweet but balanced with a nice hoppy finish. their best house brew in my opinion.

Good stout at a great price off the tap. Nutty flavor backed with coffee malts. Has an overall creaminess while still having some good and strong flavor. If you’re at Mac’s go for it, it’s very drinkable and fun.

Draft at McGregor’s in Chili. Dark beer with a tan head. Aroma is of toasted malts. Some sweet chocolate upfront was ok, but the bitter ending killed it for me.

Just saw this on the Southern Tier page and had to rate it. Brewed especially for MacGregors, this is the best session stout I have ever had. Chocolate and coffee hints are ideal, as is the body. Excellent choice if you are in the Rochester area.

Draft at McGregor’s in Chili. $2.00/pint. Very dark, couldn’t really see any highlights. NIce tan head with good retention. Mild aroma mostly of roasted notes. Flavor of chocolate, caramel and coffee. Gravely feel to it, bitter finish is fine by me.
