ElJefe (506), Rochester, New York, USA Apr 22, 2005 Growler from the brewery ($3 fill!). Light golden, small white head. Aroma is light and pleasant, with floral hops and malty sweetness. Flavor is citrus and spruce, a touch of sweetness at the end balances the finish so that it is not too dry. A good summer PA, as it is refreshing while having enough hops presence to keep it interesting.
zach8270 (1526), Henrietta, New York, USA Aug 17, 2005 Updated: Dec 13, 2008[draft at MacGregor’s - Rochester, NY] Light orange pour with a slightly off-white head. Very light and floral aroma of hops mixed with a touch of malt sweetness. The bartender said she didn’t like this because it was too hoppy, but I did not think so. The flavor began with a sweet note that went into a well-mixed hop and malt taste with a slightly sweet and not quite so bitter finish. IPFreely (1470), Niagara Falls, New York, USA Feb 12, 2005 At MacGregors in Henrietta. Lighter amber color with an off white head, slight haze. Balanced malt and hop aroma, leaning a little towards the malty end, flavor has a little more hop edge. Medium bodied. Not bad.
