gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway May 29, 2008 Bottle. brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, caramel, hop, malt. Flavour is fruit, berries, malt, hop. I like this one and would like to drink it again. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway May 23, 2008 Bottle, big thx to Rune. It looks quite nice in the glass, but I would like a slightly bigger head. It’s off-white to beige, and just a thin layer of foam. The body is hazy, and orange-golden in color. The aroma is quite subtle, with a nice blend of malt and fruityness. The flavor is much the same, but lower on the malt, and with a tiny sour note. The finish has medium duration, with a little fruity sourness. Medium body. Quite nice and easy to drink. (080411) KnutAlbert (2322), Oslo, Norway Apr 22, 2008 HAzy red, fruity aroma.
Apples, plums, a hint of citrys. Very refreshing, very different from the traditional range from MAck. I’d happily sip a number of these, especially on a warm evening. Let’s hope for more beers likt this from Mack - and with broader distribution. KM (145), Tromsø, Norway Feb 27, 2008 Tap. Muddy brown body. Very thin head. Heavy sweet and fresh aroma. Flavour is nice and fruity at first, then a heavy butter flavour kicks in and disturbs the mood. (Blå Rock, 04.01.08) Finn (1092), Tromsø, Norway Jan 30, 2008 On tap at Ølhallen, Tromsø. Rating based on sampling four times during Jan 08. Golden brown colored with a small white creamy head. Inviting aroma of fruit and butterscotch. Flavor in the same direction, but the butter domination has gradually disappeared giving room for a pleasant fruity taste that follows you into the aftertaste.
