OleR (1434), Oslo, Norway Oct 15, 2007 Pours brilliant straw-yellow. Dense and mostly diminishing medium white head. Light citric and grassy hop aroma along with some nice whiffs of sweetish pale malts and freshly baked bread. Taste is light sweet lemon with a mild and gentle hopbitterness. Dry and subdued maltflavors. Feels a little watered down in the mouth. Mild bitterness in the finish. Slim body. Overall a well balanced, elegant and quenching pale lager. hughie (2458), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England May 31, 2008 At May Ratebeer London Gathering at Chris O’s. Thanks to Finn for this one. Pale gold. Some malt in the aroma. Sweet rather wheaty taste with some sourness and late bitterness. Not bad. But I don’t like the name, which probably sounds fine in Norwegian. KnutAlbert (2583), Oslo, Norway Oct 22, 2007 Extremely light (and very expensive). Some malty body, a little citrus in the finish. Fancy packaging, but I don’t know what they want with this. Skinnyviking (3023), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 5, 2008 Can. High white and creamy lasting head leaving nice curtains. Slightly hazy yellow body. Weak barley malt aroma, on the sweet side, with a touch of lemon. Relatively carbonated mild and sweet without much hops bitterness. Short aftertaste. Quite refreshing htoun, on a wark day like todday. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 18, 2007 (Can 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear, golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a grassy whiff. Medium body, sweetish malty with a dry hopping. Fairly uncomplicated but also quite uninteresting. 171207
