Thin white head over clear yellow body. Sweet bready aroma with some malts. Sweet malty taste with strong noble hop presence throughout, and some bread. Sharpish, bitter aftertaste. Some chalk. Faintly oily mouthfeel. Overall quite good, but not too exciting. (0.33l bottle.)

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful golden colour, not much head. Very pronounced almost candy-like malty sweetness and only a discreet bitterness. Reminds me more of a microbrew somehow. Delicious. 080405

Quite all right strong lager from MAck. Rather malty, as their beers have traditionally been, with a bitter aftertaste.

This is not a bock - it’s a strong lager/pilsener. Not bad.

(Bottled) Paleish golden color with a small, mostly fading head. Very strong aroma of red and black currants, some grainy maltiness and hints of alcohol. Sweet-honey-malty, somewhat alcoholic flavor with berries in the finish. Medium-bodied, alcoholic but still quite smooth palate with medium carbonation. I found this one quite a bit better than the Ringnes Extra Gold - mostly because of the nice, berryish feel. There were, however, strange, small, white particles in the bottle, that descended to the bottom of glass. A bit disturbing, as this is a lager after all... or is it "refermented in the bottle"?:)
