Smaskifa (23), Oslo, Norway Jun 19, 2008 Slightly pale golden appearance with a decent white head. Distinct taste of caramel, but not too sweet, reminds me a lot of a typical Norwegian bayer. Overall a decent beer among the many disapointing in the asortment of the standard convenience shops here in Norway.
Gr0ve (1134), Oslo, Norway Jun 6, 2008 500 ml can. Amber colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Rich grainy aroma with caramel malts. Quite rich in fact. This is cleary a Vienna, and not a Premium Lager. Light-bodied. Smooth texured even thought there is quite a bit of carbonation. Lots of caramelly flavours. Not at all sweet though, its more that there is rich and malt slightly burnt malt flavours. Nice, and somewhat different than the other beers that you1ll find in the supermarket. Furseth (1208), Kungälv, Sweden Oct 5, 2007 Can : Clear red/brown colour, with a nice creamy head! Aroma of caramel, malt, fruity, citric and a dry bitternes in the end. Flavor was, almost the same, thin watery mouth feeling, with a thin body and a thin/short finish. Reminds me of a a light version of a norwegian Bayer. Skinnyviking (3023), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 4, 2007 Can. High fluffy but lasting off-white head. Clear amber body. Weak and sweet barley malt aroma. Very watery barley malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and short aftertaste. Soon forgotten. fb (49), Norway Jun 29, 2007 Can. The aroma is, well, unusual. I don’t like it. The flavour is nothing to brag about, I won’t try this again.
