| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2008 Wonderful first impression. Great roasted flavor that floats on the tip of your tounge. Pours dark black with a brown head. Not at all bitter for a dark beer, and has a great aftertaste long after the beer is done. tgncc (829), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2008 Nice aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. The color is thick black, with a ruby tinge, and a tan foam which persists throughout. The flavor is sweet, fruity, malty and roasty at the same time. The bottle states it has lactose sugar in it, which I would think qualifies this as a milk stout. It definitely has the thickness and sweetness of a milk stout. The finish is slighty roasty, and sugary. Not a bad stout at all. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours opaque black with a thick brown head. Sweet chocolate aroma along with a roasted presence. Very sweet chocolate flavor with a roasted finish, i think this is the sweetest tasting stout ive ever had. Pretty good. sonsteng (5), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2008 Dark / heavy beer. Certainly wasn’t one for a large meal. Really enjoyed it though. I’m not usually one for the darker beers. Taste is rich and smooth. Most certainly on the retry list. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 12, 2008 Pretty nice! It’s aroma is of expresso, chocolate, and dark malts. It’s appearance is very dark, near black. It’s head is nice, but quickly disappearing. It’s flavor is nice, with some chocolate, dark malts, expresso, and roast. It’s rather pungent for a sweet stout, but it is bold and complex. Glad to have tried this one. polomagnifico (535), Saginaw, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2008 Flavors of red wine, roasted malt. Aroma is much of the same. Dark brown hue with an average sized tan head. Medium bodied and watery soft. A crappy stout imho. ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 11, 2008 Had a very interesting experience with this beer. After trying it and enjoying it’s malty aroma and deep black color. It was a very good stout but it leaves a bitter coffee taste in my mouth. I was impressed though. I ended up putting one of these in the freezer. When trying to open it the next day, I popped part of the cap and the beer proceeded to look like it was shitting itself. It was pretty funny.
