Dark beer does not get any better than this. As stouts go, this one is unique, and in a delicious way! What a pleasant luxury every time I get to enjoy one.

A very satisfying beer overall...probably best for the winter though. It is almost definitely the sweetest beer I’ve ever had. Has notes of chocolate, mocha, and reminds me a bit of a milk stout. Definitely a nice beer to take your time with.

Everyone says it, so again I will state the obvious. Very very dark beer. I expected a strong alcohol taste or a bitter finish, but surprisingly - I got neither. A taste of toffee lingers in the mouth after each drink, but not very long. A great brew.

Toasty coffee, chocolate and molasses nose. Black with some red tones down deep. Reddish tan head. Raisin sweetness Nice mouth feel, but finishes a little thin.

[WBA Styles Tasting] Sweet roasted malt aroma. No bitterness present. Flavors are cereal-like (in a cocoa puffs kind of way), with plenty of bready malt and sweet coffee. Interesting licorice and very mellow smoke character. Not too bad.

Black as a patch of darkness from a terrible nightmare from which you cannot wake up. Lots of flavors in this one soy, chocolate, coffee, and hints of spices thruout. I like this one alot & drink it often.

Slowly rising but thick rusty brown head on thick black beer. Have to swirl the glass to maintain a nice molasses and cookie scent. Trace of cinnamon? Flavour is gentle rich chocolate, molasses and light spice. Spice is ginger or nutmeg. Like drinking a soft chocolate cookie.
