Dec 31, 2007 Nice caramel head, though a little thin. Very dark color. An almost sweet, hint of chocolate taste. Goes down smooth with tasty finish. I served this beer to friends who do not like dark beers and they enjoyed it!

Dec 29, 2007 Lovely dark chocolate color. Sweet, milky coco, maybe slight cream taste. Roasted malt with maybe a hind of coffe or caramel and burnt wood. This is a great sweet stout imo. A stout not overpowering enought to drink a lot of. I can definitely drink a six pack of this. Another great stout i will definitely keep my eye out from now on!

Dec 23, 2007 ~Choclatey, brown 1/2 inch head that quickly disappeares. A dark reddish color as it pours from bottle to glass then turns black as it sits. ~ Smells like bakers choclate with a hint of fruit. Maybe rasberry. ~ Suprisingly light feeling. Taste like choclate malt and caramel. Similar to a Rolo candy with a bit of cherry flavoring. This beer is very good.

Dec 23, 2007 Pours out a jet black with a dark brown head that dies quick to nothing. No lacing. Smells of a little bit of fruit and sweet cocoa. Taste is mild bakers chocolate, cocoa and some mild dark fruit with a slight coffee bitter finish. Thin in the mouth with a premium drinkability.

Dec 23, 2007 Updated: Mar 16, 2008This just became one of may favorite beers!! Pours a pitch black with a large tan head. Tasted of chocolate, carmel, and malts. Can’t believe the price at only 6 bucks a six pack.

I was floored to find out Trader Joes sells this one for $6 a six-pack! Great flavors of caramel, toffee, and malt, and a smooth aftertaste. A top-ten pick for a buck a bottle!!!

Dec 22, 2007 Brown head that settles quickly. Taste wonderfull of malt, bitter chocolate and a sweetness. One of my favorite stouts. Very good and not as expensive as some other brands. One of my top 5 beers.
