A very sweet, smooth stout, sure to please with its nice thick feel, chocolaty-coffee-creamy flavor and rich dark brown-black color. No hint of bitterness. The smoothest and tastiest sweet stout I have tested yet.

the beer tasted very sweet with huge chocolate flavors coming through, i thought a bit more hops in the brew would have balanced it nicely but overall something i will buy again

Pours a dark black brown coffee color. Has a nice big yeasty chocolate brown head. Tastes like coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and the finish is somewhat cream like. Very nice.

Bottle from the new "Irish Ale House" in town. Just typing that made me laugh at the absurdity of it. Anyway, this was a phenomenal brew. Deep black in color with a small cream/white head. Aroma of a fine chocolate milkshake with some coffee notes for kicks. Very smooth, yet not real full-bodied, there was a fine sweetened condensed milk taste to this. It almost tasted like a Vietnamese coffee with a predominant sweetness over the coffee touches. I’ll definitely try to score a few more bottles of this when I can.

in the category of sweet and cream stouts, Mackesons is by far one of the all-time greats!
