| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours an opaque black with a thin lacy tan head. Very light nose, just a touch of chocolate and dust. Creamy medium body and soft carbonation. Tastes like coffee with cream and sugar, and a dash of chocolate. Standard milk stout finish - it just sorta fades into nothingness. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA

Sweet, but very different because of the lactose. Super creamy, with chocolate, vanilla and brown sugar flavors. Dessert in a bottle! This beer is very distinct, and very awesome. gwpom (253), Akron, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 25, 2007 12 oz bottle. This beer to me is what stout is all about. Black as burned coffee, deep tan head, and smooth as silk going down. Chocolate, not bitter, this is a thoroughly enjoyable brew. As was mentioned earlier, could have a tad higher ABV, but for pure flavor, this is the bomb. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 25, 2007 An almost black pour with tan head and lacing that does what lacing does. An aroma of sweet chocolate and coffee. A flavor with a really nice sweetness of mostly chocolate. With a bit more alcohol this could really be an excellent beer. As it is it has a clean flavor and aroma. The bitter is just a little weak but present. The palate is just a tad thin and fizzy but not off by much. I like this beer quite a bit. loslava (9), Hope Mills, North Carolina, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Pours dark, head does not last very long. Aroma is mix of coffee and chocolate. Sweet taste slight tickle, thin/oily.
