12 oz. Bottle. Served in a shaker. Pours very dark brown, almost black. Very thick brown head. Medium lasting. Aroma of chocolate, hops and a slight hint of coffee. Very creamy mouthfeel. Not too heavy. Chocolate flavor on the tongue. Very sweet tasting going down. To be honest, I was shocked on the first swallow. Did not taste nearly like I expected it to. Very creamy chocolate finish. No bitter/sour aftertaste.

Nearly black, with carmel colored head, this beer has a sweet chocolate coffee aroma. Taste is the same, but light and more chocolatey. Very nice, and well priced at $2/12oz.

Pours extremely black! Aroma of chocolates, malts, hops and coffee. Formed a lovely brown foam head. Damn good beer! Full flavor of chocolates, coffee with a hint of malted hops. I love stouts, this, friends, is a wonderful beer. Meant to be appreciated. I compare it to Samuel Smiths IS and Clipper City’s Stout. I wish it had more ABV, but its good enough. Stout is my fave beer people, this one is so damn good. I love Baltic Porter too, gosh, Sam Adams has done a kick ass job in recreating this wonderful brew. Truely a classic beer to behold!

Black pour with a brown fizzy head that did not last too long. Faint roast, some chocolate and cocoa, and an apple note. Chocolate is the forefront with some coffee, but mostly sweet milk chocolate. Palate is medium, lively, and creamy. Finishes with bittersweet chocolate and faint roast. Very simple sweet stout, and mildly enjoyable. Nose really stopped it from being good.

This is an extremely sweet Sweet Stout. Huge coffee and chocolate flavors along with molasses and brown sugar. But I was especially impressed with the robust smokiness...almost a tobacco note in the background. This is very good stuff, and makes for a great desert beer. I did not notice any flavors fornicating, however, with any other flavors...or at least I’d like to think that I am too much of a gentleman to say so if I had. Thanks to Cornfield for the sample.

bottle - Pours black with a nice tan head. Roasted malts and chocolate smells waft up from the glass. Medium bodied with very light carbonation, the pleasant mouthfeel is matched by good roast malt and coffee flavors. It’s smooth and easy to drink. Nice beer.

12oz bottle. Aroma: Chocolate milkshake. A touch of roastiness and coffee. But, it really smells like a chocolate milkshake. Appearance: Black. No discernible highlights. Medium tan head was full and creamy with great retention. Great lacing. Flavor: Roasted coffee, light smoke, caramel, Chocolate milk. Finishes slightly sweet with a touch of sourness. Palate: Full bodied and creamy. Moderate carbonation. Overall: Really enjoyed this one. Great aroma. Smooth and very drinkable.
