Oct 10, 2006 Pours a deep dark black with a light brown head. The aroma is of roasted and chocolate malts and some sweetness. The flavor has light roasted tinge with a sweet finish and some chocolate.

Oct 1, 2006 Updated: Nov 18, 2006Bottle. Pours opaque brown/black, with a small dark brown head. Aroma is very sweet, of cream, sugar, molasses, bubblegum, and some dark malts. Flavor is sweet, creamy, with notes of sweetened coffee and sweet malt. I didn’t really like this at first, but the third or fourth time I’ve had it it grew on me. Very sweet, but enjoyable.

Sep 29, 2006 Very good very drinkable sweet stout. Great dark brown, which when finally recedes halfway through, leaves great lace. Smells and tastes of molasses, prunes, light but evident toasted malts. Great session stout!

Sep 28, 2006 Bottle 49F Pint. Quite a large dosage of dark malts, a smell of molasses, and dark corn syrup, tons of sweetness. Black, black, black color when I was pouring it into my glass i could not see through it. Small dark brown head. Lots of sweet malts with only a bit of sour maybe bubblegum, and a dash of bitter. Quite a sweet beer. Not much other than very sweet coffee and cream, take a cup of coffe add a bunch of sugar and cream and let it get cold, it will taste the same. Mouthfeel is fairly light and carbonation is light. Easy drinking for a stout. Maybe I prefer a dryer stout but this one is still quite good, but it lacks some depth, maybe a greater variation of malted grains.

Black beer with dirty tan head. Sweet, heavy body but light on the alcohol. Wonderful flavors of coffee, molasses, toffee and other goodness.

Sep 17, 2006 This is a wonderful stout! It starts with almost the same complex flavors as Guinness, but has a smooth chocolate finish.

Sep 10, 2006 12oz bottle pours black with a tan fizzy head that quickly disipates. Aroma is very slight chocolate stout aroma. The mouthfeel is a nice medium feel that’s a little coffee, sweet chocolatey smooth and balanced. Nothing amazing, but very tasty nonetheless.
