omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 24, 2003 Sampled draught at The Flying Saucer, Addison, Texas. Very black. Chocolate eith cream and coffee. Very mild and malt accented with soft cottony mouthfeel. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 13, 2007 (Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Apparently a version made in Trinidad & Tobago. Pours completely opaque black with a light brown head. Sweetish, roasted aroma. Medium body with sweetish, roasted malt accents and a vague, underlying burned accent. Some bitterness in the finish. 080707 Oakes (6784), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 20, 2008 Very dark reddish-brown. Medium brown head. Fudgey, crackery aroma with a strong vanilla accent component...like store brand ice cream that’s been sitting in the freezer a shade too long. Soft, smooth body. Roasty notes of Taiwanese iced coffee (Mr Brown’s Mandheling Blend). Sweet, but not simple nor boring. If you’re not familiar with the Mr Brown’s coffees the analogy is bang-on for the mix of milkiness, smoothness and firm roast. This adds a bit of fudgy chocolate. Solid brew...no complaints. argo0 (6018), Washington DC, USA Apr 27, 2003 Oily black body with hint of ruby; small brown head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is rich, slightly burnt coffee, complemented by sweet caramel and some milk chocolate. Taste is thick sugar-sweetened coffee with somewhat mocha undertones – too sweet for me to fully enjoy. Aftertaste is coffee that’s minimally burnt. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Mackeson XXX
